Doris worked at Cooke County/John Stroger Hospital in Chicago, IL from 1980 until 2003, during which she was also a clinical instructor.  She was a Past Secretary of the Orthopaedic Technologists Association of Illinois.

A Memorial Grant has been established in her name to honor her contributions to the profession of Orthopaedic Technology

Rickey Henderson, loving husband of Cindy Henderson (President of NAOT).  Rickey supported Cindy in all aspects of her career and gave her unending love and support throughout her NAOT Presidency.

While Rickey was not an OTC, the support he showed as a spouse to Cindy and to our profession will be greatly missed.
